Hi, I’m The Find Guy. Real name? Not important. What matters is what I do.
I started this service because I kept hearing the same story: “I’ve been looking for years…” Whether it was an old friend, a rare car part, or that one specific manual from 1987, people needed help finding things. And it turns out, I’m weirdly good at it.
I’m not a private investigator. I don’t have a license, a badge, or a trench coat (okay, I have a trench coat). What I have is an obsessive attention to detail, infinite patience for research, and the ability to think like both a computer algorithm and a human being.

THE ORIGIN STORY
It started with a Mustang carburetor. A friend needed a specific 1967 part that had been discontinued for decades. Every parts dealer said it was impossible to find. Three days and 47 browser tabs later, I found one in a guy’s garage in Montana. He wanted $300. My friend would have paid $3,000.
Then came the high school reunion. Another friend had been searching for their best friend from 1987 for over a decade. I found them in 48 hours using nothing but yearbook photos and public records. They’re having coffee next month.
Word spread. “You should talk to this guy who can find anything.” Eventually, I realized this wasn’t just a weird hobby – it was a needed service. People were willing to pay for someone who wouldn’t give up after the first page of Google results.
Why “The Find Guy”? Because that’s what people started calling me. “Call the find guy.” It stuck. Plus, it sounds better than “Professional Googler” (even though that’s technically more accurate).
